A quick fire double from skipper Sean Doyle saw FC Isle of Man overcome Litherland REMYCA this weekend.
The Ravens’ skipper scored twice in the first half to record Paul Jones’ side second win of the NWCFL Premier Division season.
Litherland took the lead in the 10th minute through James Hammill.
However, two goals from Doyle in the 26th and 28th minutes saw the Ravens lead at the break.
A strong rearguard display from keeper Adam Kelley and his defence saw the Ravens see out the game to ensure they brought three points back across the Irish Sea.
The win takes the Ravens up to 11th with seven points from their first five games.
FC Isle of Man’s next game is away at Charnock Richard on Saturday at Mossie Park, ahead of a Bank Holiday Monday trip to Stockport Town.
