Manx triathlete Will Draper claimed a career-best win at Challenge Gran Canaria beating fellow British competitor, Jonny Brownlee.
Will took the win in the mens pro race at the Challenge Gran Canaria, middle distance triathlon.
After a superb bike leg making up a swim deficit of over one and half minutes, Will tore up the field and led out of transition 2 onto the half-marathon run.
With a strong and calculated run in the midday heat he maintained his lead over eventual runner up Jonny Brownlee to secure his best result to date as the island’s only pro-triathlete.
