Ellie Reynolds has been inaugurated to become the seventh Manx Youth Bard.
She was inaugurated at an event held at Douglas City Library, which was sponsored by Aura Bar & Bistro.
There were many excellent entries, but Ellie Reynolds’s impressed the judges with her three powerful poems.

The Manx Youth Bard gives the island’s younger generation of poets a fantastic opportunity to showcase their talent.
Lady Lorimer was in attendance and was “delighted” for Ellie and is looking forward to hearing more from this talented young poet during the year.
