Storm Éowyn made its presence very well known across the island to many homes and roads, as well as the gardens of Government House.
Despite a number of trees coming down, there were no casualties and only minor structural damage.
The gardens team at Government House will begin work today (January 27) to start to clear up the debris.
His Excellency and Lady Lorimer would like to thank all the services and departments, who reacted to the storm.
Many of whom put themselves in danger to keep the rest of the island safe.
