Isle of Man Airport have confirmed that due to a continued high level of sickness within Air Traffic Control (ATC), a regulatory ATC break will be in place today and tomorrow (June 20 & 21).
The break will be in the evenings from 7pm until 7:35pm.
IOM Airport have confirmed that controllers will be taking the same number of breaks as normal, but due to sickness it doesn’t have the normal staffing numbers to keep the airport open.
The majority of flights are not believed to be affected by the closure, however tonight’s (June 20) easyJet flight from London Gatwick is due to arrive at 7:25pm.
