It’s been a great year for Maisy-Jo Faragher of Manx Fell Runners in the English Junior Fell Championship series.
Competing against the best young fell runners in England, Maisy finished in an excellent 12th place out of 61 in the Under 14 Girls category.
The championship events took Maisy and her mum Susie to some of the most beautiful locations in England, making it a summer to remember both on and off the hills.
Even more encouraging is that Maisy has spent the last two seasons as one of the youngest runners in her age group. Next year she’ll return as one of the older athletes in the category, with another year’s experience under her belt.
After a well-earned summer break, Maisy is now looking ahead to a hard winter of training as she prepares for another season on the fells.
