The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded to multiple calls across the Isle of Man last night (January 21) as Storm Isha battered the Island.
Kirk Michael crews responded to a barn roof damaged by the Storm, which at the time was too hazardous for crews to make safe.
The service added that some of the materials also contained Asbestos; Crews cordoned off the area and gave advice to the owners.

The roof of a kiosk on Loch promenade, Douglas (opposite Tower house) came off in the wind.
Crews secured the debris as best as they could and cordoned off the area.
Shortly after this crews were further deployed to secure a propane bottle in the area of Peel road, Douglas.

Fire crews (Green Watch) were also in attendance at the Brown Bobby petrol station on Peel road, Douglas.
The corrugated roof was delaminating in the strong winds. Debris was coming off the roof into the roadway and police had to shut the road.
A number of roads across the Island were closed as the storm set in and began to make areas unsafe, and led to a number of trees coming down.
It was also a busy night for Manx Utilities who received reports of loss of electricity supplies in Onchan around Ballachrink and School Road areas.
