In one week officers from the Roads Policing Unit and uniformed response have arrested 5 individuals for drink/drug driving.
That is according to the Isle of Man Constabulary who have been checking over the weekly police data.
Four of these drivers have been charged and will now appear before the courts, whilst one driver remains on Police Bail.
Drink/drug driving
Each of these drivers were involved in a collision. Although, Officers say in each case there were no serious injuries.
The message from the Constabulary hasn’t changed and it will repeat it until it is “blue in the face”: Do not drink/drug drive.
