Today’s direct flight to Lanzarote has been delayed until tomorrow after the aircraft suffered technical issues after arriving at Ronaldsway.
There were no passenger safety concerns, but passengers did stay on the plane for two hours after it landed.
Earlier an airport spokesperson said the plane was on the taxiway, but this did not lead to any major disruption to flights.
Passengers have been contacted by the flight operator to confirm it is now due to leave tomorrow.
A passenger on board the inbound flight said they have been told the plane has an issue with its braking system, but we have not had this confirmed.
