Five players from clubs across the island have earned places at Tranmere Rovers College.
Liam Blake, Preston Cleator, Jimmy Lowther, Alex Bolton and Dylan Bullock will start at the college in the summer.
It ensures them a place with the elite football and education programme with strong links to Tranmere Rovers FC.
An Isle of Man FA post said: “This marks a significant milestone in the island’s youth development pathway. This opportunity came after representing the Isle of Man FA Academy U16s, where they faced Tranmere Rovers’ U16s at The Campus.
“Their performances caught the eye of coaching and recruitment staff, leading to further trials and now, well-deserved places for the upcoming season!
“This is a huge milestone and a testament to the hard work happening across our local clubs, as well as the success of the Isle of Man FA Academy pathway in giving players a platform to showcase their talent on the mainland.”
