A revived community produce show in the north is looking for ‘enthusiastic’ volunteers to support and help run the event.
The Jurby Fruit and Flower Show is entering its second year since it was last run 19 years ago, and committee member Yasmine Cowell says it’s about ‘sharing knowledge’ and ‘having fun’.
It’s taking place on Saturday, September 28 at Jurby Parish Hall and those wanting to volunteer can contact the committee on the Facebook page.
She says last year was a lot of effort and they’re hoping that ‘more hands’ will make the event run smoothly and could encourage new committee members.
