Three pieces of government business will now not be moved during this week’s Tynwald sitting.
Following the sackings of two ministers, motions due to moved by their departments will now be held back.
They include the Sea Services Framework, a financial statement due from the Treasury Minister and, somewhat bizarrely, the waste strategy, though this may be tied into issues with local authorities.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover said: “I am also not convinced Item 12 calling for a combined vote on the Application of the Freedom of Information Act 2015 to Publicly-Owned Companies will be moved by Mr Thomas as he is now Treasury Minister.
“We do have a statement from CM on this reshuffle before questions which will rumble on for sure but it isn’t business as usual for sure and so close to the budget and end of this administration.”
