The Cabinet Office is recruiting a Change of Administration Transition Coordinator offered as a secondment for existing Isle of Man Public Service employees.
The post is a six‑month limited‑term appointment, based at Government Office, with a salary of £46,858 to £54,500 for a 37‑hour week.

Post-Election Transition
The role sits within the Cabinet Office’s Planning, Performance & Risk function, which supports the effective operation of government and strengthens governance, performance oversight and cross‑government delivery.
The post will play a central role in the 2026 Change of Administration Transition Programme, ensuring a smooth, coordinated and well‑governed transition following the General Election.
Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the successful candidate will help deliver the cross‑government programme, coordinating departmental inputs, aligning submissions with central expectations, and providing structured programme tracking, reporting and risk management.
The role also supports the development of Ministerial briefings and onboarding activity, and requires strong engagement with Chief Officers, senior leaders and departmental teams.
