Graylaw International has submitted plans to move its distribution centre to Cooil Road.
The company seeks to relocate from its current site in Spring Valley Industrial Estate.
The move is driven by operational limitations at their existing facility with a design statement supporting the application saying the current site “has become increasingly inefficient due to limited space and outdated infrastructure, impacting operational capacity and flexibility”.
Infrastructure
The proposed facility at Eden Park is purpose-designed to meet their specific requirements.
“The proposed facility will improve sustainability and efficiency through modern logistics infrastructure, enabling them to grow operations and better serve island-wide demand,” the statement adds.
The new development is expected to support business growth and employment.
“Graylaws currently employ approximately 30 staff across their existing island operations. It is anticipated the new facility will support an increase to at least 40 staff,” the application states.
The plans include a storage warehouse, office space, a vehicle maintenance facility, and associated parking.
