Air passengers are facing a second day of disruption thanks to winter’s icy grip at Ronaldsway.
This follows a closure yesterday morning which led to several delays.
It is likely that today’s freeze will last for several hours.
An airport post on Facebook said: “Despite significant de-icing treatment applied yesterday evening, our team is again working hard to de-ice the runway and taxiways; however, this is unlikely to be effective in the coming hours and will affect flight schedules.
“Please be patient as we do our best to resume operations as soon as it is safe to do so.”
Roads around the airport are also said to be icy.
