Head to Peel for Summer Challenge Orienteering

Isle of Man Orienteering Klubb are running a Summer Challenge Orienteering Event at Peel Hill, Corrins Hill and Knockaloe Beg Farm next week.

The event on June 15 will start and finish from the car parking field at Knockaloe Beg Farm.

Registration is between 10:20am – 11:00am with individual start times between 10:30am – 11:10am.

Summer Challenge Orienteering

There are 3 courses to choose from: short, medium and long. 

Participants have to visit control flag locations marked on their map in order and pin-punch their scorecard to prove they have visited the control flag site. 

All participants must report to the finish by 1:40pm at the latest even if they do not complete their course.

This family friendly activity is suitable for all ages and people can take part as individuals, families or groups of friends. 

Children must be under the supervision of an adult.  

Participants can walk or run, and suitable footwear and clothing must be worn for weather and underfoot conditions.  A compass is optional to assist with navigation.

Guidance

Guidance can be given by Orienteering Klubb members before you begin if you are new to this activity.
