The amount health executives are being paid is potentially going to come to light in the House of Keys this week.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge is to ask the Minister for Health and Social Care Alfred Cannan MHK how much is being paid to the employees.
In tomorrow’s (November 5) House of Keys sitting, Ms Edge will ask ‘What the total cost in the financial year 2023/24 was for the 10 highest paid
executive employees excluding those with Health and Medical Division contracts’.
She will also ask for the 20 highest paid executive employees excluding those with Health and Medical Division contracts.
The third part of her question ask ‘for each of these employee groups what the highest, average and lowest pay was including basic pay, any allowances, overtime, on-call payments, and any ex-gratia (on-call) payments’.
