I haven’t missed writing heavy rain or strong winds, and certainly not in the same sentence, but thats what is in store for today.
It’ll be cloudy with outbreaks of rain developing for a time around lunchtime, but becoming mostly dry again by mid-afternoon before an area of heavy rain spreads from the west this evening.
Remaining quite windy with a strong south-easterly wind but gradually turning milder with temperatures rising to around 8 or 9°C during the evening.
Advance warning: Thursday is looking fairly vile with gale force winds and a bit of rain in the morning, glorious!
