The driver of heavy goods vehicle had to be cut free after it overturned at Sulby Bridge on the TT course.
Roads are currently closed between Sulby Glen pub and the Ginger Hall, as emergency services attend the RTC on Sulby Bridge. The closure is estimated to be in place until 2pm.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service say that specialist cutting equipment was used to free the vehicle’s occupant, who was then handed into the care of the attending ambulance crew.
Roads in the area were closed following the accident, with drivers of large vehicles heading for Ramsey will be provided access to the St Judes Road, while all other northbound traffic will be diverted through Sulby Cladddaghs.
