Residents wanting to put themselves forward for the Local Authority Elections have until 1pm this afternoon to do so.
Seats will be up for grabs across all local authorities, and some will be hoping for a contested election to get a mandate from voters.
After the 1pm deadline there will be a one hour ‘objection period’ for candidates to ‘inspect’ all the nomination papers.
