The House of Keys has elected members on to two of its committees.
Members elected Damian Ciappelli, Vicki Hewison and Richard Henthorn onto the Management and Members’ Standards Committee. They replace former MHKs Daphne Caine, Tim Crookall and Michelle Haywood.
The committee is chaired ex officio by Speaker David Ashford and its members will all also serve on the Tynwald Standards and Privileges Committee.
In addition, MHKs elected five members to the Standing Orders Committee.
They were Joney Faragher, Damian Ciappelli, Jane Poole-Wilson, Kirrie Jenkins and Claire Christian. Once again, the committee is chaired by Speaker David Ashford.
The previous MHKs on the committee included Faragher and Christian, former MHK Lawrie Hooper, while Ashford served on the committee in the previous term as an MHK.
