How Crisis Team is Measured

The effectiveness of the island’s Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team is assessed mainly through two key performance indicators focused on response times.

In a written reply to Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher, Health Minister Claire Christian said the team aims to see 75% of referrals from the Emergency Department within an hour.

In 2025/26, the CRHTT averaged 91.9%, with performance remaining consistently above 90%. Referrals from hospital wards are required to be seen within 24 hours, with the team achieving a consistent 100%.

Performance is monitored through monthly dashboards, reports to senior leadership, Manx Care performance reviews, and the monthly Integrated Performance Report to the Manx Care Board.

Service‑user feedback is currently gathered through the Friends and Family Test, but the Integrated Mental Health Service has developed a new, more detailed questionnaire.

It will go live on June 8, supported by a communications plan and standard operating procedures to ensure feedback is acted upon.
