An unofficial Illiam Dhone memorial service will take place at Hango Hill in Castletown this afternoon (Tuesday).
Nationalists will gather at the event to commemorate the execution of the Manx patriot by British forces in 1663.
Last month, Mec Vannin and the Mannin Branch of the Celtic League said nobody was available to organise a commemoration event.
Tomas Callister has instead organised an unofficial event which will begin at 2pm.
A session will be held afterwards at The Sidings in Castletown.
