Ronaldsway Airport has reopened after an issue involving a light aircraft.
A reader told Manx.News that they were due to board the London Heathrow flight, but this was paused.
They added that they could see fire crews being sent onto the runway after a small aircraft landed and left the runway, stopping on the grass.
The airport previously said: “We are currently responding to a light aircraft accident on the runway. There are no injuries.
“As a result, both runways are currently closed while emergency teams manage the situation and carry out the necessary checks.
“Flight disruption is expected this afternoon. Passengers are advised to stay updated through their airline and our website for the latest information.”
