Live at Home has written to members informing them the charity will close later this month.
The letter posted by one recipient on a Facebook page said the decision has been taken due to “financial reasons”.
It said: “This decision has not been an easy one and we have looked at various options over the last few months, which has included, reducing services, which would keep us going for a short while, however without secured funding this is not going to be possible.
“It means that we can no longer offer the services we have provided, however we fully recognise that you may have un-met needs and have given details of the Wellbeing Partnerships. These are government staffed teams who can consider your situation and
advise accordingly.”
