Manx born Eventing World Champion, Yasmin Ingham, says she’s “even hungrier” for the next Olympic Games.
The next Olympic Games will be held in four years time in Los Angeles (LA).
Yasmin was selected to represent Great Britain at the Paris Olympics, but was given the position of the ‘Alternate Combination’.
The 27-year-old says the position was “tough” and “to be in touching distance of my life long dream is very difficult to process”.
Ingham on a Mission
However, Yasmin, who is always the optimist, says she has gained “so much experience” from her first taste of the Olympic Games and is “grateful” for the opportunity she has had in Paris.
Ingham congratulated her team mates, Ros Canter, Tom McEwen and Laura Collett, who won the team gold medal in Paris, along with Laura Collett winning individual bronze.
She thanked everyone for their support this week, both in Paris and back at home, saying “it is so massively appreciated”.
Yasmin will now focus all her efforts onto the remainder of the season, as well as securing a place for the next Olympic Games.
