Yasmin Ingham and Goliath Du Loir are in fifth place at the conclusion of day one of dressage at Defender Burghley Horse Trials.
Ingham and the ten‑year‑old gelding, owned by the Sue Davies Fund and Janette Chinn, scored 32.7 in the CCI5*.
Day two of dressage continues tomorrow (September 4), followed by cross country on Saturday (September 5) and show jumping on Sunday (September 6).
Burghley marks Goliath Du Loir’s 5* debut, as well as Ingham’s first appearance at the prestigious event, known for its challenging cross‑country course set in the rolling hills of Stamford, Lincolnshire.
