The Isle of Man has been ranked among Europe’s top five most stress‑free islands for a road trip, according to new analysis by Avis.
The study assessed 40 European islands on factors such as road elevation, EV‑charging availability and the time it takes to complete a full circuit.
The island placed fifth overall, and was the only UK island to make the top 10.
Avis highlighted the Isle of Man’s scenic coastal routes, peaceful countryside and low everyday traffic levels as key reasons for its strong ranking.
The top three spots went to Croatian islands Pag, Korčula and Brač, with Gozo in Malta placing fourth.
