Retired entrepreneur Ivan Soulsbury has donated a generous amount to Riding for the Disabled Isle of Man.
Ivan visited the charity after he met the team of passionate volunteers at a bag packing event in Ramsey.
Knowing that all funds that keep the charity going are raised by events held by the team he was impressed and made the donation to assist with the never-ending running costs.
He has donated an amount to the charity that represents £1,000 per volunteer.
Every year Riding for the Disabled Isle of Man has to raise between £50,000 – £60,000 to cover the running costs and to continue its life-changing work.
Generous Donation
Ivan said: “Seeing so many happy volunteers, giving up their time, was a true testament to such a fantastic charity.
“Being able to recognise, what volunteers like this do, is a real honour.”

“Ivan showed such an interest in what we bring to the riders at his visit. The charity could not run without our team of brilliant volunteers and it so lovely that Ivan instantly recognised that.

Riding for the Disabled is a purely volunteer run charity that provides positive horse experiences for the island’s residents with additional needs.
