Paul Jordan will lead the field in this year’s Supersport TT races as organisers confirm the first 20 grid places.
The middleweight class will again open the race programme on Saturday May 31 with the top 20 riders now revealed.
Riding the Jackson Racing powered by Prosper2 Honda, Jordan will be aiming to build on last year’s two top-eight finishes.
Ten seconds behind, Australia’s David Johnson (CD Racing by MSS Performance Kawasaki) will set off, followed by pre-race favourite Dean Harrison. The Honda Racing UK rider, second and third last year, will target a repeat of his 2018 victory.
Podium Battle
Jamie Coward, fourth on the grid, will debut factory Triumph support with KTS Macadam Triumph Factory Racing, eyeing his first class podium. James Hillier, a consistent top-six finisher, follows at number five, despite his recent split from WTF Racing.
Michael Dunlop, the undisputed favourite with six straight wins since 2022, starts sixth. Speculation surrounds whether he will race Ducati’s new Panigale V2, adding intrigue to his campaign.
Josh Brookes (Jackson Racing) and Davey Todd (Milenco by Padgett’s Honda) line up seventh and eighth, with Todd seeking to convert last year’s podiums into victory. Mike Browne (Boyce Precision Engineering Yamaha) and Peter Hickman (Trooper Triumph) complete the top 10.
Conor Cummins (Burrows Engineering Ducati), Ian Hutchinson (MLav Racing Ducati), and Dominic Herbertson fill positions 11-13. Craig Neve (Bathams AJN Racing Triumph) returns at 14 after a crash-ended 2024 campaign.
Rob Hodson (SMT Yamaha), James Hind (North Lincs Components Suzuki), and Shaun Anderson (Butterfields Suzuki) follow, with Hind a dark horse after recent top-six finishes.
Rounding out the top 20 are Manx trio Michael Evans (Smith Racing Triumph), Nathan Harrison (H&H Honda), and Ryan Cringle (Parker Yamaha).
The stage is set for another thrilling Supersport showdown on the Mountain Course.
