Katie Hopkins confirms Gaiety Theatre date as part of 2026 ‘Free Range’ tour.
Controversial media personality and stand-up comic Katie Hopkins has announced a headline show at the Gaiety Theatre as part of her 2026 UK tour, Free Range.
The show is scheduled for Thursday 23rd July 2026, with tickets available via her website following the tour’s official launch on Saturday 15th November 2025 Katie’s Arms.
Hopkins’ return to the island marks a significant milestone in her campaign to perform at larger venues after facing multiple cancellations across the UK.
In an interview with Manx.News earlier this year, she made a direct appeal to the Isle of Man Government and theatre management, urging them to allow her to perform at the Gaiety Theatre. At the time, she cited pressure from “objectors” as the reason behind previous venue withdrawals in the UK, and expressed confidence that the island’s audiences would support her right to perform.
“I believe the Gaiety would be a sell-out, just like my shows at smaller venues,” Hopkins told Manx.News in July 2025. “I’m asking the Isle of Man Government to let it happen. Fill the Gaiety.”
The upcoming show promises Hopkins’ signature brand of provocative humour, with promotional material describing it as a night of “laugh-out-loud stand-up comedy” targeting “useless politicians, idiot celebrities and the morons in our midst.” The event listing on her website invites audiences of all backgrounds—“whether you are 18 or 80, on date night with your hubby, a Single Pringle Mingle or a bus load of sturdy lesbians”—to join her for what she calls a “cracking evening out”.
Hopkins previously performed on the island in 2023 and 2025, with sell-out shows at the Manx Legion. Her latest tour follows the success of Batsht Bonkers Britain*, and Free Range is billed as an “all-new show” for 2026.
The Gaiety Theatre date is expected to draw both supporters and critics, with Hopkins’ performances often sparking debate over free speech, platforming, and public tolerance. However, her persistence in securing the venue—despite prior cancellations—has been framed by her team as a victory for artistic freedom.
