Kaytlyn & Regan Top U21’s

Kaytlyn Adshead and Regan Corrin claimed the top U21 honours at the Isle of Man Sports Awards.

The 2024 Sports Awards were held last night (February 27) at the Villa Marina in Douglas.

Newly crowned U21 Sportswoman of the Year Kaytlyn had an exceptional year in trials representing Team GB and placing at the Europeans.

She won the Trials des Nations, for a second time, whilst representing Team Great Britain.

Kaytlyn also had fantastic campaigns in both the Ladies European Championships where she finished second, and the World Championships finishing in seventh.

U21 Sportsman of the Year

Manx Harriers athlete Regan Corrin was crowned the 2024 U21 Sportsman of the Year.

The Manx high jumper finished 2024 ranked No1 in GB and Europe for his age-group after jumping 2.13m.

The 18-year-old also became the first Manx person to jump over 7m in Long Jump.

Speaking to Manx.News after collecting his award, Regan said: “You can expect that record to be broken a few more times this year.”
