Firefighters from Douglas were mobilised shortly before 11pm last night following reports of smoke and flames on Strand Street.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the external timber signage of a commercial premises.
The incident was quickly brought under control using a hose reel and a triple extension ladder to access the affected area.
Thanks have been extended to police officers who assisted in ensuring public safety while crews dealt with the blaze.
Station Officer Murray Halsall praised the coordinated response, ensuring the fire was contained swiftly with no injuries reported.
