Darragh certainly made his presence rather known and wreaked quite a bit of havoc across the island yesterday.
Countless roads closed, many a tree lost their life and several trampolines emigrated to a new parish.
Thankfully, Darragh is now behind us and today promises to just be a normal breezy day on the isle.

Today (December 8) will be dry with sunny spells but still feeling a bit breezy in strong northerly winds.
Temperatures around 8°C at best but feeling colder in those strong northerly winds.
The winds will have calmed down from severe gales to a N 30-35 gusts 40-50, veering and decreasing N or NE 20-25.
