The Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer soaked up the last of the sunshine on Sunday by watching the stock cars.
On Sunday afternoon, Sir John and Lady Lorimer visited Onchan Stadium to watch the stock car racing, including the end of season ‘Demolition Derby’.
Sir John presented trophies to the younger drivers.
Government House said: “It was fantastic to see the skill and expertise of these youngsters, who clearly love driving stock cars: possibly potential stars of the future!”
