Competing as part of ‘The Eternal Optimists’, the four-rider squad secured two victories, alongside a fourth and sixth place finish in a series of fast-paced competitions.
Teamchasing, a high-adrenaline sport, sees teams of four riders tackle a cross-country course simultaneously, with the fastest team claiming victory.
Known for its speed and intensity, the discipline demands both precision and teamwork.
In addition to The Eternal Optimists’ success, Simon also rides for the Wishful Thinkers team which delivered an impressive performance by finishing second in the championship standings.
Simon and his wife from Ballaugh regularly travel to the UK to take part in these events.
