Do not hold your horses, as the sun is staying to play this weekend. Get out there and make the most of it.
Whilst I’m on my high horse (thoroughly enjoying the horse puns), mercury retrograde has finished and we officially have no planets retrograde – so we can all breathe for a hot minute whilst enjoying the sun.
Ok, I’ll crack on with the weather. Today (April 27), also the day our Manx equestrian superstar is going to be tackling cross country at Kentucky Horse Trials, is going to be mostly dry and bright!
Prepare for long sunny spells today, with a light to moderate easterly wind that will turn to the north later in the afternoon and a top temperature of around 11°C.
Make the most of it
Mostly dry day tomorrow (April 28) with bright and sunny intervals, although some showers may develop overnight; look, it was too good to be true.
A light to moderate west to northwest wind will freshen from the southwest during the evening, with highs of 11 or possibly 12°C.
As the strong winds develop overnight, sadly, some not-great weather is incoming for next week.
Outlook
Bugger. Just as we were all vibing and preparing for a hot girl summer, the rain comes to join the party.
Monday (April 29) will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain soon arriving. The wind isn’t too sexy as theres a S or SE 20-25, up to 30 in places, decreasing to 15-20 in the evening, and increasing to SE 20-25 overnight.
F**k sake. There is 2-7mm of rain forecast for Monday; hopefully the ground will take it well, as I’ve just rolled my horses paddocks in anticipation of a dry baking spell.
Tuesday (April 30) isn’t looking too hot either. There will be strong winds at first, and outbreaks of rain will not clear until later.
Screw it, let’s not think too much about next week and just make the most of this weekend.
