A man who assaulted a woman leaving her requiring hospital treatment will be sentenced in October.
Jason Quayle, 26, of Crosby, admitted a charge of common assault this week at Douglas Courthouse.
Prosecutor Hazel Caroon said police were called by a concern resident at 10:36pm on August 4 saying a woman was calling for help in the car park.
When they arrived they found the woman with injuries to her head.
She told officers Quayle had assaulted her after a disagreement involving something on his phone.
Ms Caroon confirmed there were no broken bones suffered in the assault.
Quayle will be sentenced on October 22 after the completion of a social enquiry report.
