A man was arrested in Ramsey this afternoon after police received reports that he had been seen carrying a knife on Parliament Street.
The Isle of Man Constabulary’s Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team said the call came in at around 14:50 today (July 12).
Armed response officers were deployed alongside neighbourhood officers, and a man was located and arrested in the Brookhill Road area a short time later.
Police say that enquiries are ongoing.
