Two Manx athletes who now reside in the United States of America have been excelling at competitions across the large pond.
David Mullarkey, who now runs for Northern Arizona University, has won the 10,000 metres title at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, California.
Mullarkey won in a time of 29:23.03 seconds, his time broke the 35-year-old meeting record.
Stateside
Also in the USA, pole vaulter Glen Quayle, who now represents Long Beach State University, was in action competing in the Big West Conference Meeting.
Glen finished in joint third position with a best jump of 4.90 metres.
He narrowly failed his attempts at 5.05 metres.
