The Isle of Man will be represented at the Shearing World Championships in New Zealand next year.
For the first time in Manx history, there will be a Manx wool handling team as well as machine shearers.
The team has been selected via a points system of those who have competed at the Isle of Man Shears, as well other competitions in UK and Wales over last two years.
To New Zealand
The team heading to the World Championships and Golden Shears in March of next year are:
- Machine shearing: Phillip Christian and Daniel Creer
- Wool handling: Rose Crellin-Christian and Hannah Moore
- Manager: James Radcliffe
- Chief Organiser: Eleri Roberts
