The Fire & Rescue Service has paid tribute to Sub Officer Mark Sutton, who has retired after a 33-year career.
Mark, who joined the island’s service in 2013, previously served with Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service before relocating to the Isle of Man.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Man Fire & Rescue Service said: “We would like to thank Mark for his commitment and contribution to the Fire & Rescue Service.”
Throughout his career, Mark worked across multiple watches and staff departments, with his most recent role in the Fire Protection Team. Reflecting on his long service.
A spokesperson said: “Mark joined us in 2013, following a successful career with Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service, bringing his combined service to an impressive 33 years.”
The service extended its best wishes, adding: “We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
