Onchan Commissioners has awarded the Crosh Pobble Chonnaghyn to Martin Macfarlane.
Mr Macfarlane has volunteered for 17 years as youth worker at Kenyon’s Cafe and as a weekend street supporter, which encourages good citizenship in young people in Onchan.
The award is presented every two years to a resident in the village who has done positive work for the community.
He will receive his accolade next month at a civic reception.
