A written question has been tabled in seeking details about changes to sub-post office contracts across the island.
Juan Watterson MHK has asked the chair of the Post Office to set out which sub-post office contracts have been terminated and which have been renegotiated, and to explain the impact of any such changes.
The question also asks when the changes will take effect, highlighting concerns about timing and the potential consequences for local communities and services.
Sub-post offices play a key role in providing access to postal and government services.
Any alterations to contractual arrangements could affect opening hours, staffing, or the range of services available.
The chair of the Post Office Stu Peters MHK is expected to respond by January 7.
