Isle of Man resident Michelle Mone has acknowledged for the first time that she was involved with a company that was given UK government PPE contracts worth £200m during the Covid pandemic.
After three years of investigating and denials from three different law firms, the Guardian’s David Conn has finally received an admission that Baroness Mone had an affiliation with PPE Medpro.
The UK newspaper said that her husband Douglas Barrowman has also admitted involvement.
The company received £200 million in contracts during the pandemic, but £122 million of equipment they provided was deemed not fit for purpose.
