Manx National Heritage has announced a line-up of Hop tu Naa events taking place across the Isle of Man this October.
From celebrating a traditional Hop tu Naa at Cregneash to spooky tales at the Grove Museum and film screenings at the Manx Museum.
At Cregneash, families can step into the heart of Manx tradition at the annual Hop tu Naa Festival which will take place on October 25.

Alongside the festival, there are events and activities for children of all ages:
- The Enormous Turnip presented by Manx Family Concerts: a family performance taking place at Cregneash on October 26, told through music and storytelling, bringing an inspiring story to life in a magical way.
- Turn Up for Turnips: a hands-on creative experience celebrating the Manx tradition of carving turnips taking place at Cregneash during half-term from October 27 to 31, with standard admission including free entry for children.
- Tiny Turnips Festival: a special event taking place at Cregneash on October 29, designed exclusively for children under 5, filled with age-appropriate crafts, songs and gentle seasonal activities.
At the Grove Museum, children can enjoy spooky storytelling at Tales from the Whispering Walls.
Film lovers can enjoy seasonal family favourites on the big screen at the Spooky Little Screen series at the Manx Museum, with three classic films to choose from:
- The Addams Family, screening on October 27;
- Hotel Transylvania, screening on October 29;
- Hocus Pocus, screening on October 31.
Tickets are available in advance, except where standard admission applies. Booking early is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
