New management for Thirsty Pigeon

A brewery in Douglas, Odin’s, has taken over the popular Douglas pub, the Thirsty Pigeon.

Last week, former management, Robert McAleer Senior and Junior announced they are to leave The Thirsty Pigeon after 10 years.

Taking to Facebook, the father and son duo said that ‘their time at one of Douglas‘ most loved pubs has come to an end’.

New management

Odin’s says, ‘It’s a great pub and we hope to make a it little bit greater! We’ll get through TT with some basic changes with bigger changes to follow later!!’

Its other pub in Ramsey, The Trafalgar Hotel, is a multi award winning top 4 finalist in the CAMRA Pub of The Year.

With its new addition, Odin’s is looking for staff for TT and long term.

It says if you’re a team player, competent at serving Real Ale and Keg Beers in a lively proper pub or just enthusiastic to learn and be part of a team, then drop them a DM on facebook.
