Manx Carriage Driver, Nicola Pimblett-Quayle has been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI World Championships 2025.
As part of the British Horse Pairs Driving Squad, Nicola and her team will head to Beekbergen in the Netherlands in August.
Nicola has been selected with her horses Harrald, Just Your Money and Offwhite I&S, along with her two grooms Kari Harmon and Stacey Erlandson.
World Championships
The seven-person squad will be joined by David Matthews (Chef d’Equipe), Daniel Naprous (Performance Manager) and Rosie Mould (Vet).
The other drivers that have been selected are Peter Bennett, Roger Campbell, John Ripley, Chris Smith, Tara Wilkinson and Graham Heath.
Nicola has had a busy 2025 in order to gain her qualification for the World Championships.
All Over Europe
In March she headed to the Netherlands to compete at Exloo in the 3*, followed by Kronenberg in the April.
By May, Nicola was competing in Germany at Lähden 3* before heading back to British soil to compete in Wales Cricklands 3* in June.
Nicola wishes to thank Bryony Jackson for holding the fort at home whilst she was away qualifying, and to Ivan Kelly for the training over the winter months.
She also thanked those who have helped grooming at her qualifying shows; Gregor Knox, Kari Harmon and Stacey Erlandson.
Finally, Nicola thanked her horses Harrald, Jed and Leo for making the championship appearance possible.
