The Police have asked anyone who witnessed a fight in Douglas over the weekend but haven’t spoken to officers yet to contact them.
Market Street in Douglas was closed for several hours on Saturday after the scrap between four men.
A Police spokesperson has told Manx.News that the fight started outside a takeaway in Castle Street, where a group of women intervened to separate the men.
They said: “The fight then continued outside Elegance Taxi rank before further members of the public stepped in to intervene.
“Enquiries are still ongoing to identify further witnesses, but can confirm as a result of the fight, no persons sustained any serious injuries.
“We would encourage anyone who has witnessed the fight and is yet to be spoken to by Police to come forward to assist in establishing what has occurred prior to Police arrival.”
