The Isle of Man’s highest aware for contributions to the island’s culture – the RBV – is open for nominations.
Culture Vannin is asking for notations from the public for someone who has made an astounding contribution to Manxness.
Announced in January, the winner will be an individual or a group that has achieved something incredible for Manx culture recently, or have made a lasting contribution.
Director of Culture Vannin, Dr Breesha Maddrell, said: “The award is a wonderful way of recognising the contribution to Manx culture by a person or a group or people. It is a way of thanking them for what they give so freely to the Isle of Man and its sense of place and identity.”
Last year, the award was made to Adrian Corkill, whose research into the maritime history of the Isle of Man, and his generosity in sharing his findings, was recognised.
Nominations close at 12 noon on Tuesday December 3.
